The main difference between Farming Simulator 23 and Farming Simulator 20 lies in the expanded content and new functions of the newer game. Farming Simulator 23 offers more than 100 authentic vehicles and tools from well-known manufacturers, new production chains (e.g. processing wheat into flour and making bread), additional crops such as grapes, olives and sorghum and new animals such as chickens. There are also two new maps inspired by environments in the USA and Europe and a seasonal function with visual changes. The tutorial and AI helpers have been improved, and there are new tasks such as ploughing and weed removal.
In comparison, Farming Simulator 20 is a simplified version that was originally developed for Android/iOS and appeared on the Switch as a conversion of this mobile version. This version is greatly reduced compared to the PC version, with fewer setting options and simplified game mechanics. Farming Simulator 23 builds on this mobile version, but offers more content and improvements.
To summarise: - Farming Simulator 23 has more vehicles, animals, crops and production chains. - New maps and seasons are included in LS 23. - LS 20 is a simplified mobile version with fewer features. - LS 23 improves the tutorial, AI helpers and offers new tasks such as ploughing and weed removal.
