What is the difference between Fritz Fon c6 and c6 international? Is the phone compatible with the Fritzbox 7390? Can I buy several handsets?

I don't know the exact difference between the models either. However, 4 pcs. C6 International / CH work on my Fritzbox 7490, so it can also be used with the 7390 without any problems.

The devices are identical and both work with all DECT boxes. Only the packaging and the manual are different. The packaging of the international version is in English and the quick start guide is in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
