The main difference between the "MX Master 4 For Business" and the "normal" MX Master 4 lies in the optimised connectivity, the extended warranty and the business-oriented features. The "For Business" version offers twice as powerful a wireless connection thanks to a new wireless chip and optimised antenna placement, as well as the Logi Bolt USB-C receiver for a secure, encrypted connection. It also has a longer manufacturer's warranty (3 years) and is specially designed for professional working environments with a high wireless density.
Both models share many technical features such as the 8,000 DPI darkfield laser sensor, silent clicks, haptic feedback, MagSpeed scroll wheel and programmable buttons. The "For Business" version is also easier to disassemble for recycling purposes and is available in the colour Graphite, while the normal MX Master 4 is also available in other colours.
To summarise:
- "For Business" has improved, twice as strong and secure wireless connectivity (Logi Bolt USB-C receiver). - Longer warranty (3 years) for the business version. - Specially optimised for professional, dense wireless environments. - Easy to disassemble for recycling. - Colour options and availability differ slightly.
Functionally and technically both are very similar, but the business version is designed for professional requirements and security.
