I can't measure the frequency range because I don't have the measuring room or the equipment.
I think the speaker sounds very good, even for classical music.

I was interested in that too... I have a doctorate in electroacoustics, and he would like to know this...
Interestingly, there are only real measured frequency responses of the Play1 and 3 on the web, not of the 5, I'm very surprised.
But: the low bass coming out of the Play:5 is hard to believe, I guess lower - 3 dB cut-off frequency about 25 Hz, and clean and undistorted... really amazing for the relatively small cabinet. High frequencies also impeccable, I think certainly above 16 kHz. For me a bit too accentuated in the midrange, but that's a matter of taste... All in all a top product! Hope this helps a bit...
