What is the maximum possible tabletop thickness for the C-clamp? According to Dell's online instructions, I only find "up to 53 mm". Can anyone confirm this? Would anything more still fit? I ask because my table is totally 55 mm thick due to a metal frame under the tabletop. So theoretically I am only missing 2 mm...

We asked the supplier about this and only received the same information, that the maximum is 53 mm.

I returned the big "thing"
I returned it immediately.
It didn't fit because of the wall behind it.
Because of the height of the table
I can't judge after five months.
