This is a so-called gateway that allows the various sensors of the Aqara product range to be integrated into a Smart Home network. For example, there are window and door sensors or temperature sensors. In order to use these e.g. in the Smart Home Eco System from Xiaomi, an Aqara gateway is then required, with which these sensors are then connected (via WLAN or Bluetooth).
