When I play a VHS cassette in a video recorder, an incorrect format (approx. 16:9 instead of 4:3) appears in the connected beamer, which can no longer be set there. does anyone have the same problem? Thank you for an answer

There is not much you can do. The limitations of the VHS as recorded and the possible settings of your projector must be compatible. This product only converts the electrical signal from analogue to digital. Of course, there are signal converters that support this function, but they are not cheap.
