Photo paper for laser printers is specially coated and heat-resistant to fix the toner with heat. It differs from photo paper for inkjet printers, which absorbs the ink and is not suitable for laser printers. For a laser printer, you should therefore buy photo paper that is explicitly labelled as laser printer compatible. Normal photo paper with a glossy surface, which is intended for inkjet printers, is not suitable as it can become wavy and toner does not adhere properly.
