which smartphones fit into the vr set it says sizes from 4.7" to 5.5" and does it come with several connectors for different ports e.g. lightning usb type c and micro usb?

Smartphones supported Smartphones with display size between 4.7 and 5.5 inches except LG G4 and SONY XPERIA Z5 Premium.

The display diagonal refers only to this. The outer dimensions of the smartphone also play a role. A 4.7 inch smartphone with too little protrusion on the short sides will not be held firmly enough. A 5.5 inch phone with too much protrusion will not fit into the slide. A phone that is too thick will not fit in the slide.

The glasses themselves are completely passive and also have no connections carried out at all. Power supply / USB, headphone jack must be on the short sides.
