Why can't I charge my headphones, I only took my USB-C to USB-C cable with me on holiday but that shouldn't be a reason why I can't charge them. (I can charge other devices with it so it's not the cable).

What kind of charger do you have in that case? Some devices get either too much power or not enough, but in principle only the USB-C cable should be enough. Have you tried another charger?
