The product will always be the cheapest at the first seller, you have to take into account that Digitec also has to have them delivered and therefore has to cover the delivery costs somehow, apart from that Digitec also wants to earn something from it which is also understandable, nobody does all the work for free. What I can't understand is people who criticise Digitec when something is too expensive and don't even think about the background of the whole thing!

It is probably clear to everyone that Digitec has to earn money on this, the point is that a whopping 72% is added on.

Now imagine other products where you would defend the middleman if he charged 172% of the price. Not 172% of the material value or manufacturing costs, but of the selling price elsewhere.

I would have ordered Link incl. controller here long ago if the price was right. But in my opinion, they are too obviously trying to "skim off the Swiss margin".

Another price increase. I had thought about it at the 85.- price. But I'd better wait until the first real problems are solved. You pay almost twice as much as abroad... (very unusual for electronic goods!).

Stream Link and the controller cannot currently be ordered/delivered to Switzerland via the Steam Store. I have now also organised the Steam Link via Ebay.de for 81.- CHF incl. shipping.

I ask myself the same question. I already bought Link + Controller for a total of CHF 130 on ebay. Delivery from the USA.

The surcharge is OK. In the end, the warranty has to be covered and the whole thing has to go through customs etc. ... It's always very tedious to order abroad. And if it's in stock, you get it super fast here in Switzerland. Besides, the Digitec employees in logistics and RMA also want to be paid. I don't think 85 for a good controller is too much. It's not like it's just some cheap noname controller ...

Amazon 49.99$ + shipping approx. 17chf + fee deposit 6chf are then 75chf and then comes the swiss customs and also wants his 15-20 francs.
the package with controller is certainly cheaper overall (138 on amazon), if customs doesn't open the package.
But i for one already have the xbox 360 controller for it.

It's a real mess, if it goes on like this I'll emigrate to Germany. Well, I'll get 70-300% less pay for the same work. I'm no longer allowed to vote directly, and even if something I didn't vote for governs,... hmmm,... I'd rather emigrate to America! I can get the controller cheap there too! As soon as I'm done with my third job around 11pm, I can sit in front of the TV and be proud of how cool and cheap the thing was...
It's 35 francs more expensive, but no Digitec worker needs a second job to feed his family ...... <--- please insert here what used to get your mouth washed out with soap.
