Why is there no cable supplied? I've hardly used the controller and it's already stopped working. I've been told I need to update the firmware, but that's not possible with this controller without a cable.

As you can see on the Digitec website, this model is sold with or without a cable. It's a USB-C cable, but a very long one. A simple USB-C cable should suffice for updating.... (This has never happened before). The batteries do run down quickly, so it's better to buy rechargeable batteries if you play a lot.
