With old Logitech 5.1 systems, the sound on all speakers is switched off as soon as you connect headphones, is that the same here? How does a headset (with microphone) behave?

It's the same here with normal headphones: I can't say how it behaves with a headset, I've never tested it. (I have a USB headset, so I can't either).

Discreet product, good for separate channels, but with shallow and powerful bass, and modest treble.
Definitely not suitable for demanding audio.
