With thisDelock adapter, I wanted to connect my VR Oculus Rift S glasses to my labtop, which only has an HDMI connection. The sound is transmitted, but not the image. What could be the reason for this? Thank you very much for your help.

This will not work, VR glasses must be connected directly to DisplayPort or with a USB-C to DisplayPort adapter (only works if the port is "DP Alt. Mode" capable
