Would these mics work plugged into a 2000s stereo, which doesn't have bluetooth yet but to which I've plugged a bluetooth adapter, and which has a classic jack input? Or would they work plugged into a home cinema system?

All you need is a large input jack. The radio transmitters are with the microphones. They are not Bluetooth. However, they work very well.
