You can't really imagine what it's like with these new high resolutions. Isn't the font much smaller than on a 24 monitor with a resolution of 1950x1280px? TV sets are always switched on in the shop to see the picture. Unfortunately, the computer screens never are.

In the default setting, yes, but you have to search for your icons with a magnifying glass. But you can adjust the scaling in Windows (and probably in every other modern OS). This way, icons and texts are displayed larger without looking washed out. Works fine for me with 150%.
