The sleeping bag cannot be kicked off and is simply pulled over your baby's pajamas. It can be unzipped from the bottom, allowing for easy diaper changes at night. The 100% cotton muslin is also pre-washed, making it particularly cozy from the start and wonderfully soft after each wash.
