Hello Oskar, the thing worked perfectly for months until my grandchildren could walk well.
My suggestion is to attach a 5x5 cm wooden strip to the wall and then attach the Hauck Close'n Stop including a 9 cm extension (84 cm).

I had exactly the same problem. In principle, you can also clamp the 75-81 cm version in an 83 cm door frame. However, you then have to unscrew the clamping screws further than Hauck officially "allows". So you do this at your own risk. My assessment: If it is at ground level (i.e. simply separating the access to a room), then this is not a problem. If the door protection is to be used as fall protection when going down stairs, I would personally advise against it.
Manufacturer item # 596937, Galaxus item # 3455493 should fit. Unfortunately, it is in a different colour, but you have the possibility to exchange it at Galaxus and get the right size, then you will have exactly what you need and in the right colour combination.
