The lower screws are approx. 3 cm above the floor, the upper ones approx. 86 cm. I don't think it works with 79 cm. Suggested solution: Screw a narrow board 90 cm high and 7 cm wide to the wall and then mount the child safety lock on it.
Can also be mounted outside (we did this because of our youngest). After some time (~1.5 years?), however, the hinge mechanism became increasingly crooked.
Basically with cable ties yes... but for safety reasons I would not recommend this.

Hello, we have the net and yes it can be bent. As we have a side rail on the wall, unfortunately we couldn't mount it all the way down. I think she would get through anyway as it is very elastic, but I can't say for sure.
