The categories are ("World", e.g. Caribbean sounds, "Jazz" (not a real ...), "Lullaby" (e.g. Guten Abend, gut' Nacht), "Classic" (e.g. Mozart), "Nature" (e.g. birdsong), "White Sound" (e.g. sounds of waves)). Of course, there are no orchestras playing, but the music is not annoying. The little one loves it because she can operate all the keys herself, and the batteries last well. The "music" is more in the background here.
