But then fear grips them, as monsters lurk everywhere. It is only when the rainbow fish makes a surprising discovery on the way back that both can overcome their fear.

Marcus Pfister was born in 1960 in Bern. In his picture book "The Rainbow Fish," he created one of the world's most successful picture book characters in 1992. His books have won multiple awards and have been translated into more than 50 languages. He lives with his family in Bern. In his studio, which has a wonderful view over the Swiss capital, he continually creates new characters and stories.
