Seagulls are the best clients! When a seagull sits down next to Alice out of the blue and tells her that it has a job for her, Alice can't believe her ears. Why does she suddenly understand the animals' language? And why do they need her help? More and more animals in the neighbourhood are disappearing without a trace, and only Alice can solve the mystery. Not only does she have to find her way around her new school, she also has to learn how to use her magical abilities. All a bit much at once! Luckily, her classmates Tim and Ottie are there to help her. But both seem to be hiding something, and so Alice begins to wonder who she can trust.
