The dragon Fred has his birthday today! He would have loved to invite many friends, but it seems that only Toni and Struppi will come. After a wonderful breakfast, they cheerfully start the preparations: baking a cake, picking flowers, hanging up balloons, making everything really nice. When Fred joyfully carries his table outside, he experiences a huge surprise: all his loved ones have been hiding there the whole time to celebrate with him now! Fred is overwhelmed and blows out the candles, moved. There is feasting, playing, singing, and laughing. When Toni and Struppi stay in the evening and wave goodbye to Fred and the others, Fred feels a warm glow in his dragon heart from all the happiness.
