The glittering city lights, stalls, and carousels – Grisou feels as if he can almost see it all. Although he has never been to the Christmas market as a grey parrot, his family has told him about it. Most of all, he dreams of roasted almonds! Surely, they are the most delicious of all treats. He would give anything to get his beak on them just once. Two days before Christmas, his chance arrives: the kitchen window is open! It's cold outside, but that doesn't deter Grisou. He doesn't plan to be gone long. And so, he sets off into the twilight on his adventure through the festive city. Will he find roasted almonds? Will he make it back to his family in time for the celebration?.
