A grand tragicomedy and a lot of feathered friends

Charlie's already complicated life spirals out of control when his father is transferred from the local hospital to Virginia. Secretly, his children travel across the country to join him: Charlie, his demanding older sister, his hyperactive twin brothers, and a strange new family friend as a babysitter. To somehow endure the inconveniences of a stinky RV, inedible food, and disgusting toilets, Charlie decides to spot all the birds that he and his father had hoped to see together someday. If he manages to do this by the time they reach Virginia, his father will surely get better!.
