Nils
German, Melanie Garanin, 2020Product details
In 2015, the youngest son of children's book illustrator Melanie Garanin passed away. This was an unimaginable shock for the entire family, which Garanin began to process in her own way: she drew. Initially in a blog, and after experiencing how many other parents felt the same, she started illustrating the whole story as a graphic novel. The result is a book where despair and anger have their place alongside beautiful memories and humor, a book that does not sugarcoat anything and shows her path back to life.
