The RS28H footswitch features three buttons to control not only Olympus voice processing software (ODMS, DSS Player Standard, Sonority) but also the necessary software from other manufacturers. This can include any transcription software or other application software that is controlled via keyboard shortcuts or multimedia keys (Scan Next Track, Stop, Play/Pause, etc.). Simply assign the corresponding command using the footswitch configuration tool. Once you have configured the pedals to your individual needs, your hands are free to transcribe an audio file or perform other tasks.
