Instructions for use | Substrate pre-treatment: Almost all absorbent and non-absorbent materials are suitable as substrates, except PE, PP, PTFE, etc. The substrates must be solid, sound, clean and free of release agents. Remove release agents with a suitable solvent, e.g. alcohol, or sand the surface. All surfaces should be sanded if possible. Always check coatings for adhesion and remove if necessary. Application: The tool on the lid can be used to portion out the desired amount of Express putty or the practical portions can be used directly. Remove the outer protective cover and knead the two components thoroughly. Apply to the object within 3 minutes and fill, repair, model or glue accordingly. Remove excess adhesive, e.g. by scraping off. The repair putty will now become harder and harder, reaching high strength after just 15 minutes and final strength after 24 hours. After hardening, the material can still be shaped mechanically. Cleaning: Cured adhesive residues can only be removed mechanically. Remove fresh traces of adhesive immediately with ethanol or ethanolic cleaner. Please note: Adhesive reacts with its 2-components immediately after kneading. Sensitive users should wear gloves if necessary, do not place mixed mass unprotected on surfaces. Storage: Store in a frost-free, cool and dry place. Avoid direct sunlight. |
