With its super adhesive power, the "mother" of the Pattex contact adhesive range bonds quickly, spreads easily, and adheres well to different surfaces. Pattex Kraftkleber Classic bonds almost all materials such as laminates, HPL boards, rubber, leather, cork, felt, hard PVC, soft foams, or metals. Its high temperature resistance makes the adhesive suitable for temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, making it both cold and heat resistant. Thanks to its properties, this liquid adhesive can be used in a variety of applications: from repairing various household items to bonding sealing strips, sound-absorbing, insulating, and acoustic panels, veneer strips, or kitchen countertops, it serves as an all-purpose adhesive. Pattex Kraftkleber Classic should be applied well and evenly to both surfaces to be bonded, possibly using a notched trowel. The material to be bonded should be load-bearing, dry, free of grease and dust, and residue-free. The solvents should be allowed to evaporate for at least 10 to 15 minutes at room temperature, ensuring good ventilation in the room. After this, bonding is possible within the open time of 1 hour. The two parts should be fitted precisely together and pressed firmly for a short time. Corrections are no longer possible. For the final strength of the bond, the pressure applied is more important than the duration of the pressure. A pressure roller or rubber mallet can be helpful in increasing the pressure, and a template can be used if necessary. Final strength is achieved after about 3 days. Not suitable for glass, PE, PP, soft PVC, polystyrene, and PTFE.
