Everything is green and blooming in Petronella's garden, but after a spring storm, a branch has broken off one of the apple trees. To help with the heavy cleanup, the little witch hires a garden gnome. However, it soon becomes clear that the eager gnome has his own ideas about how to keep a garden in order. While Petronella and the little apple men have to deal with the gnome, the Kuchenbrands are looking forward to their first family summer vacation in a long time. Lea and Luis are excited about their holiday on the farm and are thrilled to help the farmer. But then they overhear that the two geese on the farm are to be sold as Martin's geese. That can't be true. The twins decide that the geese must be saved and call their friend Petronella for help.
