Tobi plays with his Playmobil worlds in his bedroom. His three favorite figures, Sam, Emil, and Liv, are always part of the fun. However, whenever he leaves the room, something very strange happens: the Playmos come to life and embark on an exciting adventure!

In the episode "On the Trail of the Bank Robbers," the Playmos find themselves in the middle of a bank heist! When Commissioner Rogers and the police arrive, the bank robbers have vanished without a trace.

In the episode "Special Operation Money Transport," the Playmos witness clever bandits setting a trap for a money transporter. Emil, Liv, and Sam put everything on the line to help the special task force prevent the gang's next robbery.

In the episode "Special Operation at the Amusement Park," the Playmos spend a day at the amusement park when they are suddenly arrested by the police. They had paid at a candy stand with counterfeit money. It quickly becomes clear that someone had slipped the fake money to them.
