Doctor Döblinger's tasteful puppet theater is not just any ordinary tent puppet show, but delightful, literary entertainment for children. The puppet stage has received numerous excellent reviews and has been featured in various theaters and festivals, including the Munich Volkstheater. The owners, authors, narrators, and puppeteers are Richard Oehmann and Josef Parzefall, who have already written and performed nine children's plays for their stage across Germany. "Kasperl on Vacation" is a continuation of Doctor Döblinger's Kasperl audio play series. The texts are written in the Bavarian dialect with a strong inclination towards the absurd. However, the main focus is always on providing exciting entertainment for children, with adults likely to join in the laughter. The characters are classic Kasperl figures, such as a policeman, magician, dog, Seppl, crocodile, king, and more. The title song "Alle Mitanand" was recorded by Christoph "Stopherl" Well from Biermösl Blosn, who also voices a guest role. The tango "Oh, Heike Häschen" was composed and performed by Peter Pichler. The elaborate booklet includes portraits and information about each of the individual puppet characters. Additionally, children can study a detailed map of Doctor Döblinger's very quirky Kasperl region while listening.

Plot: While playing in the hide-and-seek park, Kasperl and Seppl are repeatedly interrupted. Not only does King Kurt come stomping in loudly, but a sound researcher is also poking around, and sometimes a loud "Crex-Crex" can be heard, which only Kasperl seems to notice. However, things become truly challenging for the two after the annual oracle prophecy: Kasperl is suspected of being a conspirator and must outsmart the police.
