Once, the mother of the little penguin gets so terribly angry that she has to scream. But afterward, she feels sorry. And then she says, "I'm sorry!" It really couldn't be expressed better than in this picture book by Jutta Bauer. Little penguins sometimes go through the same things as human children. Their mother is angry. "This morning, my mother screamed so much that I flew apart," the little penguin tells. The head flies into space, the body into the sea, the wings disappear into the jungle, the beak lands in the mountains, and the bottom in the city. Tired from searching, the little feet arrive in the Sahara Desert. Then a large shadow falls over them - the mother of the little penguin has gathered everything back together and sewn it up: "I'm sorry," she says.
