Emma, her brothers, and Brutus the vampire animal are very happy in their new home, an old haunted villa. Only Count Dracula is sad: once a feared vampire, he is now just a shadow of his former self, as spooky as a cute yellow canary. Therefore, Emma's new mission is to bring the spookiness back to Dracula! At first, the plan seems to be working. Suddenly, a series of eerie events occur, and everyone thinks Dracula has returned. But then it turns out that there is indeed a ghost in the haunted house, who not only plays the bagpipes beautifully but also outshines Dracula in the scare department. Oh dear!
