In Obereidorf, something exciting is happening. Lamprecht the Seventh, King of the Hares and Rabbits, promises, as tradition dictates, to give his daughter in marriage to whoever sings the most beautiful song about her. Luckily, little Lodengrün can sing well, as his greatest dream is to take the princess to his home. The princess is also curious about Lodengrün, as she doesn't like the other contestants at all. However, the Minister of Hare Singing and Director Wackelohr have sinister plans in mind. This musical audio play classic from 1958 features Klaus Havenstein, Franz Muxeneder, Charles Regnier, and many other well-known voices. It is filled with clever wordplay from the 1950s. The performers sound delightful, and the songs are still catchy. It's a huge amount of fun! James Krüss' "Singer's War of the Heath Hares" is a cult classic!.
