Tim in the Land of the Soviets, created in 1929, was the first adventure in the Tim and Struppi series and thus marks the beginning of the Franco-Belgian comic tradition. The then 21-year-old Hergé had created a hero who became known worldwide and experienced his legendary adventures in a total of 24 albums.

Almost 90 years after its release, this comic classic has finally been colored. The deluxe edition additionally includes a 16-page dossier by Philippe Godin about the creation of the adventure, as well as an extra print of the missing page that was not included in the album. The volume is limited.
