After a night together, young police trainee Julia discovers that her one-night stand Nick has a huge swastika tattoo on his back. When she tells her father, a former anarchist, about it, he urges Julia to stay away from Nick. But Julia wants to know the truth: Is Nick a member of a far-right group and has he been sent to her? She begins to investigate on her own and follows a trail that leads her deep into the desolate forests of the Eifel - to the Westwall, an old defense system from World War II.
