Can credit card payments also be accepted in other currencies, e.g. in euros instead of francs, or is the national currency fixed when the app account is set up?

Depending on which account you log in with in the app, you have a different account available. you can open as many accounts as you like. You may have to connect the device in the app again, but I'm not sure. Just to be on the safe side, ask Sum up support, they're great. The device is also great.

The currency is determined at account level. You could open one account per currency and then log in with the other account depending on the currency.

You have to open the accounts on websitw. Via login in the app, you can select the account/currency to which the payment is to be made.
