have a setup like this. Table 70cm deep. One monitor is vertical (because of the width of the table).
The best that is possible for me is approx. 55cm to the edge of the table. That's enough for me. The arms of the stand are then turned flat against the wall, so to speak. Alignment was a bit more work this way (the freedom of movement of the arms is simply more restricted when they are flat) - just don't tighten the plinths too early. I have to turn one arm to the left and one to the right. There mustn't be anything in the way (shelves next to the table or Elgato accessories or something like that). But it turned out quite well.
