I haven't received anything, the height is fixed and there is still a height difference of 1 cm.

Yes, the manufacturer sent me a new centre bracket on request, completely free of charge, and that solved the problem. I suspect that the newer brackets come with the adjustable centre bracket, but unfortunately I don't know.
