I have a programme (Smartscore X2) that requires a TWAIN compatible scanner. Is this the case here?

Yes, it is available. The manual states: "Windows: The TWAIN driver (ScanGear) is based on the TWAIN 1.9 specification and requires the Data Source Manager supplied with the operating system."
