The PLAUD can only be used with a 3-month free subscription. My experience: I used my device while recording dictation. The word transcription was very inaccurate with spelling mistakes and no punctuation. Deserves to be improved. I don't see the use of AI, maybe for translations.

The device comes with 3 months subscription. If you want to use it properly, and it is a serious productivity aid, you will need a subscription. This is not badly priced although I had to double it as I was using it so often.
