I glued a key safe to the back wall of a milk crate with it and had to remove it after a year.
and had to remove it after a year. The glue could be cut through in small steps with a long carpet knife
The adhesive could be cut through in small steps with a long carpet knife and the adhesive residue could be removed mechanically without leaving a trace.
Without access with the knife, the adhesive can only be removed by force.
