My canvas weighs exactly 4kg. Can I just use 3 nails to make it work for a total of 6kg or can the number of nails not double the weight?

Helpful answer
On the back of the pack it says: "1x = 2kg" and "2x = 4kg" - so "3x = 6kg" will also apply.

I do this with pictures that are heavy. So far it has held reliably!
I certainly do 3 nails to be on the safe side...
