With this scanner software programme, can I, for example, also assign a view restriction (select image section) to a scanned page before saving it?

I am not really interested in "normally" but I would like to have concrete confirmation that you can do this with the Canon LiDE 220 Cano Scan (USB) -- thank you!!!

Normally, all common scanner software should have a "preview scan" option. Then the scan is made and the scan is displayed. Then you can "cut out" the desired part and save it.
