To ensure visibility in dark environments, the watch display is illuminated by a LED at the push of a button. The time display can be set to either a 12-hour or 24-hour format. In 12-hour mode, a "p" on the display indicates the second half of the day, from 12 noon to 11:59 PM. A sensor measures the ambient temperature of the watch and displays it in degrees Celsius (0°C to +40°C).
