Holmegaard - Calabas Vase, burgundy

Inspired by nature, Peter Svarrer has created a new colored glass vase. Calabas features a round and harmonious design, much like the bottle-shaped calabash fruit after which the vase is named.

Interpreted in glass, it serves its functional purpose while adding an elegant touch to the interior. The mouth-blown Calabas vase is available in two different color combinations: warm amber and a cool burgundy red. In the tradition of Holmegaard, the Calabas vases are mouth-blown by highly skilled and experienced glassmakers who have perfected their craft. It takes some practice to achieve the poetic composition of the Calabas vase, where light, water, and the beauty of the flowers in the vase are reflected.

Calabas was designed by Peter Svarrer, who has already created a series of glass designs for Holmegaard, showcasing his unique understanding of the medium.
