The Japanese technique of Kintsukuri, which sees special beauty in imperfection, inspired the Lambert designers to create these truly extraordinary pieces. Originally, valuable broken ceramic pieces were repaired with gold. For the Kuori vessels and bowls, a small workshop has developed a technique to combine two completely different metals with very different melting points and flow characteristics into a single piece. Small irregularities and inclusions are unavoidable in this highly complex process and contribute to the unique character of these little works of art. The anthracite patina may vary slightly in color, further showcasing the character of the exceptional craftsmanship. The vessels are not suitable for holding water. If you wish to use Kuori as a vase, please use a suitable insert made of glass or plastic.
