Horse Lamp Floor Lamp – an extravagance that cannot be rivalled

The design label Moooi is renowned for its unconventional lighting collections, which eclipse everything that has gone before. Creative, life-size floor lamp in the shape of a horse

The Horse Lamp floor lamp impresses not only with its design, but also with its unique craftsmanship. The lamp is built on a sturdy metal frame, over which the outer material is stretched. In a complex manufacturing process, the polyester is then moulded into its characteristic shape. Resting on the horse’s head is the lampshade, made of PVC-viscose laminate, mounted on a delicate stem that ensures diffused light distribution. The Horse Lamp is available in black and white. The inside of the lampshade is a contrasting colour and features a metallic finish that reflects the light.

Front – a design object made in Sweden

Swedish design is generally known for its minimalism. However, this is not the case for the design duo Front, who created the legendary Horse Lamp. Thanks to their creative ideas, Sofia Lagerkvist and Anna Lindgren have risen to become some of Sweden’s best-known designers. In addition to the extravagant horse-shaped floor lamp, they are also behind the Pig Table side table and the Rabbit Lamp table lamp, which Front also produced in collaboration with Moooi.
