Circus Pouf. Do you remember your first visits to the circus? When an elephant stood on its stool? This very image was in Simon Legald's mind when he designed this rounded seat for the Danish brand Normann Copenhagen. While the pouf is now made in a solid color with muted tones from soft velour, its eight-part pattern still reflects the playful character of circus platforms. To withstand lively sitting in the living room, Simon Legald equipped the pouf with two different layers of foam: the upper, soft layer provides comfortable seating, while the firmer, lower layer along with a wooden base keeps the construction stable. Whether as a footstool for the sofa or as an extra seat around the coffee table – no one wants to miss the Circus Pouf from Normann Copenhagen.
